In a recent conversation with a fellow Doman Method graduate, we delved into the misconceptions surrounding acceptance, particularly in the realm of neurological diagnoses. Living with a brain injury entails challenges beyond comprehension, yet the notion of acceptance often disregards the innate desire for improvement and a better quality of life. Just as we wouldn't settle for a broken leg without seeking treatment, why should we accept a malfunctioning brain?
